Only one qualified referral is counted for each referred learner.
Learner Referral Program Terms and Conditions
Learner referral program terms and conditions
This page explains what counts as a qualified referral, when referral rewards may apply, who can use the program and when rewards can be reversed, expire or be refused.
Rewards only apply when both parties have purchased and completed at least one booking.
Reward balances can expire if they are not used or claimed in time.
Referral sharing must stay personal and lawful, not bulk promotional or misleading.
Program overview
A referral program should reward real new learners, not recycled bookings.
A learner referral program is meant to reward genuine introductions. If a current learner shares a referral link or code and a genuinely new learner books through that path, a referral reward may apply if the program conditions are met.
These terms are here to prevent confusion. Not every shared link creates a reward, and not every booking counts as a valid referral. Only real qualifying referrals count, and suspicious or self-generated activity does not.
- Referral programs are meant for genuine new learner introductions.
- The referring learner and referred learner cannot be the same person.
- Suspicious referral activity can be disqualified or reversed.
Qualified referrals
What counts as a valid referral
A qualified referral is a purchase made by a referred learner who arrives through the referral link or enters the referral code during signup. The referred learner must be a real new learner who has not previously made a booking under the system.
One reward per new learner
Only one qualified referral is counted for each referred learner. Repeat purchases by the same referred learner do not create new referral rewards.
No self-referrals
The referring learner and referred learner cannot be the same person, even if a different email address is used or the learner details are rearranged.
New learner only
The referred learner must be someone who has never previously made a booking under the relevant learner account structure.
Referral rewards
Rewards depend on completed bookings, not just a signup
Referral rewards are only earned when both the referring learner and the referred learner have purchased and completed at least one booking. The reward is tied to real lesson activity, not just a click or a half-finished signup.
If either party seeks a refund, raises a payment dispute or the payment is believed to be fraudulent, the related reward credits can be removed. If reward credits have already been paid out, reimbursement may be sought for the amount involved.
- Both people must complete at least one paid booking.
- Refunds, disputes or fraud concerns can reverse reward credits.
- Referral rewards may create tax obligations for the person receiving them.
Eligibility and expiry
Referral rewards are for individuals and they do not last forever
Eligibility is limited to individuals, and the referral program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation. Reward balances are also time-limited. Referral rewards are valid for 36 months from the time of issue, which keeps the program controlled and finite.
Program rules
No spam, no questionable use and no guaranteed permanence
Referral links must not be distributed in a way that breaches spam laws or turns the program into bulk unsolicited promotion. Personal sharing is acceptable. Mass commercial behaviour is not.
The program operator may close accounts, seek proper payment and change or cancel the program terms at any time if the referral system is used in a questionable way or if the terms are breached. Referral rewards are conditional, reviewable and not untouchable.
- Referral sharing must comply with up-to-date spam laws.
- Questionable use can lead to account closure or reward cancellation.
- Unclaimed rewards may be forfeited if the program is changed or ended.
