Driving lessons in Narellan
Narellan is one of the more complete places in the Macarthur region to learn, because the calm driving and the demanding driving sit within a few minutes of each other. Early lessons use the residential streets around Porrende Street and Waterworth Drive, where the traffic is light enough for a beginner to concentrate on steering, braking and mirror habits. The town centre then adds what those streets cannot: Elyard Street and Queen Street for parked cars, pedestrians and traffic-light routines, and the Narellan Town Centre and Smeaton Grange car parks off Anzac Avenue for reverse parking and low-speed judgement. When your control is reliable, Narellan Road, Camden Valley Way and The Northern Road meet here in genuine multi-lane conditions, so lane choice, merging and gap selection get practised on the same roads that carry you to the test centre. George Hany teaches Narellan for our Camden and Macarthur learners, and adds each new task only after the skill underneath it is repeatable.
Most Narellan learners book the Service NSW centre at Macarthur, a straight run east along Narellan Road, with Edmondson Park the common alternative for families who travel up Camden Valley Way. George matches your later lessons to the centre you actually book, rehearsing the intersections, roundabouts, parking and observation habits assessors mark, without asking you to memorise a single route. Narellan learners test at the same centre used for our Campbelltown lessons on the Macarthur test routes.

The same instructor teaches the areas below. See every suburb we cover for the full list and pick-up detail.
Historic town streets ask for slow, precise driving, while the Camden Bypass covers open-road speed management in the same lesson.
A newer estate with modern roundabouts, wide roads and clear signage. Plenty of space to make mistakes safely and fix them.
George's home ground. Lessons start on quiet crescents, then build to Narellan Road's multi-lane intersections, the Macarthur Square approaches and the Hume Motorway interchanges.

George Hany teaches Narellan through our Campbelltown and Macarthur team. He is accredited by Transport for NSW, has taught since 2005 and normally stays with the same learner from the first session through to test preparation, so nobody has to explain their progress twice.
On the quiet residential streets around Porrende Street and Waterworth Drive, at walking-pace speeds, with George talking you through every control. Nothing moves on to Elyard Street, Narellan Road or Camden Valley Way until the basics are steady.
Whichever one you book. Most Narellan learners test at the Service NSW centre at Macarthur, straight along Narellan Road, and Edmondson Park is the common alternative up Camden Valley Way. Tell George which centre you have booked and your later lessons run on the roads around it.
A one-hour automatic lesson is $80 and a two-hour lesson is $150, with pick-up and drop-off in Narellan included. Five-hour, ten-hour and test-day packages bring the hourly rate down, and the current prices are all listed on this page.
Eligible learners under 25 can record three logbook hours for each structured hour driven with an accredited instructor, up to the current Service NSW limit of 10 professional hours, which is 30 logbook hours. George records each lesson in your paper or digital log book.
Yes. George starts with one clear task on a low-traffic Narellan street, explains what will happen before the car moves, and brings in the town centre or Narellan Road only once the earlier routine is reliable. Nervous learners and returning drivers are both welcome.
